The constituency of North Dorset, which our local Green Party covers, encompasses Blandford Forum, Gillingham, Shaftesbury and Sturminster Newton along with their surrounding areas. It is challenging to cover such a large geographical area and we welcome all help and support in getting the party message across to constituents.
We always welcome volunteers to help with our campaigning work. Could you help distribute leaflets, or go out with our campaign team and speak to local residents about their concerns?
We are particularly keen to find more volunteers with fundraising experience or web design, press, research and administrative skills. Whatever your level of experience and however much or little time you can give, we would love to hear from you.
Please contact us by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about ways you can get involved.
North Dorset Green Party has launched an Election 2015 fundraising campaign. Monies collected via the campaign will be used to fund activity for election activities including the deposit monies for the parliamentary candidate (£500) and printing / design of marketing and materials. We aim to support candidates at all levels including the Council Elections.

As a member, you can be as active as you like - from armchair and online support to standing as a candidate for election.
As well as official meetings where we discuss local party business, we also organise more sociable unofficial meetings such as our Christmas social and a recent pub-lunch visit to the proposed Silton wind farm site.
The Green Party currently has 160 principal authority councillors across England and Wales. We would naturally like to bring this level of success to North Dorset and wish to place candidates in as many wards possible at both district and county level so we need lots of enthusiastic, committed and hard-working candidates. We are particularly keen to ensure diversity amongst our candidates.
Candidates must be paid-up members of the Green Party and support its main aims and policies.
